With a weight of 52gsm, it's remarkably lightweight, only half the thickness of copy paper.

Tomoe River A5 Loose Sheets
This is my go-to paper for letter writing and for short notes. The paper is thin, but fountain pen ink does not feather on the paper. It is bright white paper, and this allows me to use pastel-colored inks to write with and still have the writing legible. The paper is thin so there is show through, but no bleed through of the paper. The paper is thin enough that I use a lined guide underneath the sheet of paper to assist with writing in straight lines.
