Introducing the Heart Sūtra pen from Opus 88. Opus has been making quality fountain pens since 1988 and have designed a beautiful new wood body. The pen has black resin cap with polished silver colored trim.
The Heart Sūtra has been carved onto the wood to remind us of its helpful meaning. The central tenet of the Sūtra states "Form is emptiness, emptiness is form". This famous text comes from the Mahayana Buddhist teaching of the Two Truths doctrine. Briefly speaking, the Two Truths doctrine explains the two levels of realities we live in: the relative and the absolute.
When one is battling between the two states, reading the Heart Sūtra can provide comfort and ease.
