Product Overview
Rikka (六花) means "snow crystal" — a nod to the hexagonal shape of falling snow. The color is a light-to-medium blue with a cool, icy edge, leaning slightly green or teal depending on paper and light.
Shading is moderate, moving from soft sky-blue at the edges of strokes to deeper mid-tones in the downstrokes. A faint pink sheen shows up on darker pools of ink.
Dry time runs around 20 seconds on quality paper, with the smooth, reliable flow standard across the Iroshizuku line.
Released in 2024, Rikka is one of the newer additions to Pilot's color range.
Comes in a 50ml glass bottle with a wide mouth built for easy converter filling. Works in any fountain pen that takes bottled ink — converter, piston, or eyedropper.
