Product Overview
Inspired by Lucy Maud Montgomery's The Blue Castle, published in 1926.
The novel follows Valancy Stirling, a woman worn down by a joyless, controlling family, who builds an interior world — a castle of her own imagining — to survive it, then finally walks out to build a real one. This ink is that inner refuge in color: a clear sky-blue base carries the page, with deeper ocean-blue undertones settling in wherever the nib slows down. Soft grayish-blue notes surface at the edges of each stroke, giving the ink real shading — light and airy in thin lines, denser and more saturated where the ink pools.
Bottled in Wearingeul's standard 30ml glass, part of their Monthly World Literature series, where every color is built around a specific book rather than a generic name.
