All Kaweco fountain pen nibs are manufactured exclusively in Germany.
The heart of every fountain pen is the nib. In our fountain pens, it forms a unit with the feed, guaranteeing a reliable writing experience. Using our modular system, we offer Kaweco nibs in many different variations. Besides the line widths, which range from extra-fine to extra-broad and include calligraphy nibs, they differ in the materials used and in special manufacturing techniques. One thing all our nibs have in common: they are made in Germany.
The gold-plated Kaweco 060 steel nib is plated with 14-karat gold. A welded-on iridium tip and a precisely measured nib slot minimize tolerances in line widths from extra fine to extra broad.
