Midori's MD Notebook is built around a single idea: writing should feel good. Nothing about it is decorative — the design exists to get out of the way of the page.
The notebook opens completely flat at 180 degrees thanks to thread-sewn binding, so there's no fighting the spine whether you're at page 1 or page 176. MD PAPER, Midori's own paper developed in-house since the 1960s, covers not just the interior pages but the cover and endpapers too — bleed-resistant and feather-resistant even under fountain pen ink, front to back.
Inside, 176 pages of 5mm dot grid give structure for text, diagrams, or sketches without locking you into ruled lines. The A5 size suits everything from work notes to daily journaling to notebook decoration — big enough to write freely, small enough to carry. A glassine paper cover, bookmark string, and included index stickers round out a notebook meant to be used hard and referenced often.
