MD Notebook Cotton takes Midori's signature paper and reworks it with 20% cotton pulp. The fibers are longer and finer than standard wood pulp, so the paper dries faster and feels slightly smoother underhand — without giving up any of MD Paper's bleed and feather resistance. The color shifts too: a soft, natural off-white rather than the standard MD ivory, closer to the cotton itself.
This edition skips the usual glassine wrap. The cover is left bare, exposing the cloth binding tape along the spine — a design choice that puts the paper and construction on display rather than hiding them. Thread-sewn binding lets the notebook open completely flat at 180 degrees, page one through 176.
Blank pages leave the format open — sketching, mind-mapping, journaling, or writing that doesn't want to be boxed in by rules or grids. A bookmark ribbon and included index stickers help track your place across a notebook built to be filled cover to cover.
