The Yuru Log series takes its name from the Japanese word for "relaxed" — a notebook built for casual, low-pressure daily record keeping rather than structured planning. The Cat edition brings that idea to life with illustrated page borders by artist Kumiko Horibe, cycling through four themes: cats out for a walk, cats at coffee time, cats among stationery, and cats among plants.
Each B6 page carries a 5mm dot grid, giving just enough structure for lists, sketches, or notes without dictating how you use the space. The illustrations frame the page rather than fill it, so there's no pressure to draw or design — just write, or don't, and let the artwork do the rest. Matching stickers are available separately for anyone who wants to decorate further.
Inside is Midori's MD Paper in cream, smooth enough for a range of pens and resistant to bleed-through. PUR binding keeps the notebook durable while allowing pages to lay flat for writing. A PP cover rounds out the compact, pocket-friendly format — small enough to carry daily, sturdy enough to hold up to it.
