Product Overview
Midori's MD Notebook has one job: get out of the way of your pen. The blank A7 pages are cut from MD Paper, the writing-first stock Midori has refined in-house since the 1960s — smooth enough for wet fountain pen nibs, dense enough to resist bleed-through and feathering. The same paper wraps the cover and endpapers, so the whole notebook is built for ink, not just the inside.
Thread-sewn binding means it opens fully flat at any page — no fighting the spine to write near the gutter. At 105 x 74mm, it's pocket-size: slides into a breast pocket or bag pouch for whenever an idea needs to land on paper fast. No lines, no grid — just room to sketch, jot, or let a two-page spread become one canvas.
176 pages. Glassine cover. Bookmark string. Index stickers included. Made in Japan.
