The A7 MD Notebook (Lined) runs on the same MD Paper as the rest of the line — the in-house stock Midori's refined since the 1960s to handle wet fountain pen ink without bleed-through or feathering. Cover, endpapers, and inner pages are all cut from it, so the whole notebook writes the same no matter where your pen lands.
What sets this one apart is the rule itself: a thicker center line splits each page into top and bottom halves. It sounds small, but it changes how you use the notebook. Split one page into two working sections, or treat a two-page spread as four — log entries above, notes below, or add your own dates and run it as a diary or planner. The structure's there when you want it, invisible when you don't.
Thread-sewn binding opens flat at any page, so the center rule doesn't get swallowed by the gutter. At 105 x 74mm, it fits a breast pocket or bag pouch — small enough to have on hand whenever something needs writing down.
